Through a unit-wide effort, the use of data as the basis for decision making and continuous improvement has become part of the University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services’ culture. Educator preparation programs are professionally and publicly accountable to the program, the college, the unit, the university, and the profession. Faculty now provide yearly data analysis and aggregation and all administrative, programmatic, and procedural change are data driven.
AACTE is a national voluntary association of higher education institutions and other organizations and is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality preparation and continuing professional development for teachers and school leaders in order to enhance PK-12 student learning. The almost 800 member institutions prepare more than two-thirds of the new teachers entering schools each year in the United States. AACTE’s headquarters is in Washington, DC.
