The sprite step off was off the chain as you already saw the Ludacris and Wale performances, but I was saving the best for last! Here are clips from every sorority team that competed at the step off that night for the regional competition, giving you just a small taste of what the Chicago crowd experienced! The whole event was hosted by Chicago's Power 92 Hot Boyz, who did a great job in entertaining the crowd. I remember multiple occasions where the crowd was dancing on their seats throughout the entire 4+ hour show! I personally never got to witness a step show before, but I'm definitely glad I did and would recommend it to anyone. There were times where the energy from the step competitors ripped through my body, utterly shocking me altogether. The teams were up on stage for a long time doing the most complex patterns I've ever seen a full team of people do! It was impressive to say the least due to the creative step routines, crowd interaction, and the physical stamina it took to get it done!  Terrible Theta Nupes Evanston, Illinois, United States April 21st, 1917 Not withstanding the inexorable consequences of war, Kappa Alpha Psi witnessed slow but continuous progress. On the 21st of April in the war year of 1917 the Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi was chartered at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Located in the North Central Province, it was the fraternity's eighth great chapter and the first in the Chicago area. The charter members were E. Wilbur Johnson, Ira M. Henderson, T.F. Charleston, Carlyle F. Stewart and Roy Young. Due to the meager number of students enrolled at the university in the late 1950's and early 1960's, the Theta Chapter became inactive for a period. It was rechartered in 1967 by Big Brother Davis, a former student, coach and athlete at Northwestern University.
