When I got the job in Admissions, I fell in love with SU and realized that everything I’d been looking for in the other schools I’ve been to was wrapped up in one amazing school. I took a few graduate courses, pondered over the direction of my professional career, and watched my youngest sister go through the college search to become an SU student herself. She’s now a senior in Communications Design (anyone out there willing to be a contact/job-networking contact for her? hehe) and the only official “SU Orange” in the family. But, I feel very Orange through and through, even if I didn’t officially graduate from SU! I honestly could not see myself working for any other University, and am so proud of having had the the joy of starting my professional career at SU. What’s great is that my new job will combine everything I’ve learned about recruiting and everything I love about the ministry work I’ve done in my own time outside of the office. Needless to say, I have grown to love SU and working with all of you amazing Alumni more and more with every year I spent here in Admissions. Your enthusiasm, Orange Pride, varied personalities, and incredibly large and generous hearts have inspired me many, many times and reminded me of why I’ve loved working here.
