GOgetta,
my advice is to finish your undergrad coursework. you are on your way to being finished, and it will put a stepping stone into getting into medical school. Windsor should not be your first choice. Their are plenty of better schools that offer a lot and try to make strides to improve the instiution. Their are a lot of pros and cons about this school. I am juts stating the facts. you can take it for what it is, but at the end of it, majority of the people are going to agree with everything i write. Only good thing I got out of this school was my ticket to write step 1, but I take all the hard work done to take and pass the exam. They have given me the opportunity, but this place is not a school and not looking to strive to improve.
Pros:
low tuiton with perks
new campus
ticket to write step 1
cons
hidden fees, with low tuition, project non existent 2400, where everyone has the same names and all have hypertension.
incompetent staff and administration
no signs of improving the school administration problem
no ny accreditation after being established for over 10 years.
impossible to get a hold of people in the monee office
Doctordonuts.com, bollywoodcampus.com, need i say more?
Overall, finish your bachelors. Try for canadian medical schools, if not. try for the carribeans. Try the big 4, then branch out. Windsor should not be your first choice, you should strive for a school that has 50 state licensure and not come to a school that restricts you like windsor does. With ny accreditation, it opens up a lot more doors when you apply for residency. hope that helps!
